Unrelieved sitting/lying (e.g. in ward, operating theatre, testing procedures) causing damage to the sacrum, ischium, greater trochanter, malleolus, heels, elbows, back of head and chin.
Pressure from poorly fitting/applied anti-embolic stockings and footwear can cause damage to heels, toes and malleolus.
Wearing of oxygen masks/tubing, feeding tubes can cause damage to nose, ears and chin.
Continual monitoring devices can cause damage to fingers (pulse oximeter) and upper arms (dynamap).
