Do all stage 1 pressure areas look the same?
No, as you will see in the examples provided here, pressure areas can look quite different depending on the location and skin colour.
Review the photos below to see how the area appears as a defined area of constant redness in lightly pigmented skin, whereas in darker skin tones, the area may appear with red, blue or purple colours.
